Flapjacks
Makes a whole baking tray
- 250 g Butter
- 250 g Light brown sugar
- 150 ml Golden syrup
- 500 g Rolled oats
Melt the butter in a pan
Add the sugar and syrup and warm gently. Do not boil.
Remove from the heat and stir in the oats
Spead evenly on a greased baking tray and press down with a fork
Bake in a warm oven 160°C / Gas 3 for 25 min or until firm
Cut into fingers while still warm and leave in the tray to cool.
